- Beside the front door or garage — a slim 25.5" (65 cm) depth that fits close to a wall
- Covered porch or patio — a sheltered spot near an outlet, out of hard rain and snow
- Kids' holiday parties — a big friendly figure that inflates in minutes
- Keep the fan plugged in. The display stays inflated only while it has power, so place it within reach of an outlet and the 9.8 ft (3 m) cable.
- Do not place it in hard rain or snow. The cloth is weather-resistant and rated IP44, which means splash-resistant, not waterproof. Unplug it and bring it in during storms.
- It is a tall display. Measure the space for its full 94.5" (240 cm) height and 66.75" (170 cm) width, and check for power lines and tree branches overhead.
- Anchor it with all 7 stakes, 4 drawstrings and the sandbags before inflating, and check them if wind picks up. The stakes are for soil or grass; on a hard surface, rely on the sandbags and another way to anchor it.
- Keep the cable out of walkways, and let the cloth dry completely before folding it for storage.
