- Keep the fan plugged in. The snowman stays inflated only while it has power, so place it within reach of an outlet. The cable length is not stated, so check the manual or measure before you place it.
- Do not place it in hard rain, snow or strong wind. The fabric is rated IP44, which means splash-resistant, not waterproof. Unplug it and bring it in during storms.
- It is a tall display. Measure the space for its full 94.5" (240 cm) height and 66.3" (168 cm) width, and check for power lines and tree branches overhead.
- Anchor it with all 5 stakes, 3 tether ropes and the sandbag before inflating, and check them if wind picks up. The stakes are for soil or grass; on a hard surface, rely on the sandbag and another way to anchor it.
- Keep the cable out of walkways, and let the fabric dry completely before folding it for storage.
