- Use power safely. Plug the pad into a protected outlet (GFCI), keep the plug connection dry and off the ground, and check the pad and cord often. Stop using it if anything is damaged.
- Cats can chew cords. The cord has a PVC sleeve, but check it regularly.
- Unplug when you do not need heat. Use the house for shelter only in mild weather.
- Assembly. Wipe the tubes and connectors with a half-dry cloth first, then wear the included gloves and follow the 12-step guide.
