- Connect with care. Red clamp to the positive (+) terminal, black clamp to the negative (-) or bare metal, and follow the manual. The clamp cables are short (3.9 and 8.2 in), so place the unit close to the battery.
- Charge it before you need it. Charging takes about 4 hours. Keep the unit charged.
- Tire pressure. Use the pressure on your vehicle's door label or in its manual, and check the tire with a gauge.
- Temperature. The working range is -4 to 140°F (-20 to 60°C). Do not leave the unit in a hot car.
