Diatomaceous Earth Dish Drying Mat, 15.7 x 11.8 in, Foldable, Quick Dry, Stone
Description
A drying mat made of diatomaceous earth — the porous mineral that pulls water off dishes and dries itself in minutes, instead of staying damp like a towel. Rigid stone slats sit on a flexible backing, so the mat folds and rolls up when the counter is needed, and its leak-free base keeps the countertop dry underneath.
Where you'll use it
- By the kitchen sink — plates, pans, cutting boards and glasses dry without a rack's footprint
- Coffee station — mugs and the moka pot drain right where they live
- Bathroom counter — under soap dispensers and toothbrush holders, no more water rings
- Small kitchens & RVs — folds away in seconds when the counter has another job
Specs
- Size: 15.7" × 11.8" (40 × 30 cm)
- Material: natural diatomaceous earth composite on a flexible backing
- Colors: white, light grey, dark grey
- In the box: 1 × dish drying mat
- Clean it with running water or a damp cloth and air-dry in a ventilated spot. Skip soap and detergents — they clog the pores that do the absorbing.
- If absorption slows down after months of use, a light pass with fine sandpaper opens a fresh layer of pores and brings it back.
- Keep coffee, tea and red wine off the mat — porous stone holds colored stains. A faint white film on a new mat is normal mineral dust; wipe it off before first use.
- Lay it on a flat surface and fold only at the seams between slats — the stone segments themselves don't bend.
